If you were wondering where you could go without a visa, here's your answer. 16 countries are now offering visa-free entry for holders of Indian passports. You have Bhutan and Mauritius among these 16 countries.
V Muraleedharan, Minister of State for External Affairs, stated in a written reply to a request in Rajya Sabha that there are 16 countries that grant visa-free entry to ordinary Indian passport holders. He also announced that there are 43 countries providing visa-on-arrival facilities and 36 countries providing e-visa facilities.
The 16 countries offer regular Indian passport holders visa-free facilities Barbados, Nepal, Bhutan, Mauritius, Haiti, Hong Kong SAR, Maldives, Senegal, Serbia, Trinidad and Tobago, Grenada, Dominica, Samoa, Senegal, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Niue Island, and Montserrat.
The Minister also said that the Government is continuing its efforts to increase this number of free travel, e-visa, and visa-on-arrival facilities. This will, of course, make it easier for travelers to travel internationally.
As of now, Indonesia and Myanmar offer visas on arrival to Indian passport holders, while Malaysia and New Zealand have e-visa facilities for Indians.
